Conrad Marca-Relli (Boston 1913 – Parma 2000) is one of the leading exponents of the American Abstract Expressionism. The exhibition catalogue includes the essays of the English critic David Anfam and of Magdalena Dabrowski, curator of the Metropolitan Museum of New York. The book is completed by the unpublished autobiography by Conrad Marca-Relli and the catalogue raisonné – a first version of more than 900 color illustrations concerning paintings, collages and sculptures of different periods.
